No Sew Summer Scarf

No Sew Summer Scarf

A very quick and easy scarf that will ‘fab’ up your summer outfits!!

All you need is an old t-shirt and scissors

Cut a straight line from under one armpit to the other

Now cut strips up (about 15cm high) along the base. Spaced out at about 1.5cm apart

Simply tie two strips together

Continue right around the shirt until there are no more strips

In this step you tie another two strips together, one strip from each previously tie pair so you get a little diamond shape

Continue around until they are all tied

DONE !!

How easy was that and how good does it look!!

5min No-Sew Bunny

5min No-Sew Easter Bunny

This is truly a very easy project even for young children.

All you need is a sock, rice, ribbon, scissors, string and marking pen

To make things easier we cut the bottom out off a disposable cup to help keep the sock open when pouring the rice into it.

Now we threaded the sock through the centre of the bottomless cup, then folded the top of the sock back over the cup. You should have a nice big opening now!!

Pour the rice into the sock to the size you would like

Tightly tie off the sock just above the rice level with a piece of string

Cut the loose strands of string

Now tie the string around the rice body just above the middle (so the head is smaller than the body!!)

Cut off the leg of the sock to the height of the bunnys ears you would like

Cut down the centre to make the ears

Now shape the ears by cutting a triangular shape, so there is a wider base and pointed top of the ears

Almost done!!

With the marking pen draw a cute little face

Tie the ribbon around his neck…….and he is all done!!

I think that the Easter Bunny will love seeing these at the foot of your beds!!

Simple Paper Flowers

Simple Paper Flowers

This is a very simple paper folding project.

All you need is a square piece of paper

Now fold the paper in half

Fold in half again the other way

Fold in half from corner to corner

Fold in half from the other corner to corner

It should look like this

Now push opposite sides inwards at the fold marks

You should have a big triangle now, Fold that in half at the centre fold line.

Fold 2 corners backwards (see picture)

Flip over and do the same on this side

You should now have a little stork to hold onto!!

Now put your finger inside the triangle shape flaps to open them up.

Done

How easy was that!!

How great do they look !!
